{MOTHER'S DAY}

As our students are in rehabilitation, part of the process is working towards family reunification. Where there was once broken trust, hurt and pain; there is now reconciliation, healing, joy and appreciation! At the Los Angeles Mission, we set apart time to celebrate and honor all mothers on Motherís Day.  This year, on Saturday, May 8th we expect over 150 mothers or mother figures to show up at our annual Motherís Day Luncheon.  Students will invite their mothers to honor them with a sit down banquet and dessert.  All of the mothers, whether student or guest will receive a motherís day gift.  A special gift basket will be awarded to the youngest, the oldest and the mother with the most children.  If you would like to be a part of making this event a memorable one, please call the Mission to see about making a contribution towards this event or volunteering your time on that special day!
