{ Refund Policy }
It is the policy of the Los Angeles Mission to investigate any request for a refund within 72 business hours of initial notification of a potential error.
The investigation of the concern will include:
- Verification of the donation being posted to the donor's record
- Verification of the donation transaction being complete (ie; funds deposited into Mission account)
- Verification that the donation was made in error (ie check is payable to another organization)
Once investigation is complete, the refund (if so determined) will be issued within 7 business days.
If warranted, donations will be refunded in the same manner as the original transaction. For example, if a check or cash was issued to the Mission, a refund check in the same amount will be issued to the donor. If the donation came in the form of a credit card transaction, the refund will be credited back to the same credit card.
In the event that a donation is disputed, the President and/or Chief Financial Officer of the Los Angeles Mission will have final determination of refund.
