Geogre Loftin shares
how hope really did begin
with a meal and resulted
in renewed relationships,
employment and hope
for the future.
When I tell people that I was addicted to drugs for 37 years,
mostly crack cocaine, they find it hard to imagine that I
survived. When I tell them that for 29 of those years, I was
homeless in downtown Los Angeles, they’re surprised that I’m
not dead. All I can say is God had other plans for me and from the
day I walked into the Los Angeles Mission my life began to change.
